Long before evolving into Taste WANA and the advent of local tourism, thanks much to Instagram and Covid, Taste Lebanon pioneered Rural Tourism in Lebanon, catering to both tourists and locals alike. Our rural escapes have become legendary, whisking you away to captivating, tucked-away corners of Lebanon and now elsewhere in WANA. Whether it’s indulging in a beach mezze or a mountain feast, delving into traditional preserving techniques, meeting local farmers, foraging in the fields, or embarking on a ramble with a shepherd, each experience promises a full day of adventure.
While each rural escape is a standalone full-day experience, we’re happy to arrange back-to-back adventures with overnight stays at local bed & breakfasts or boutique hotels (costs separate).
Departures typically commence around 8:30 am, with return times varying based on the experience. Our all-inclusive pricing covers transportation to and from Beirut (and other capitals), expert guides, refreshments, two meals, activity costs, and any applicable entrance fees.
